The SITCO conducted a two days trip to different old villages of Baloch and Sindhi people in the surroundings of Karachi and Hyderabad Super Highway on 15th and 16th January 2011 to collection information on traditional crafts persons in Sindhi and Balochi embroidery and to support the ladies involved in different skills specially embroidery, which is the main function of SITCO. These illiterate ladies / artisans of the villages have been playing a vital role in survival of indigenous crafts by making designs and motifs in various colours scheme in handmade embroideries, which is also a source of their income.
